"The dominant narrative."

Today I deconstruct: 

"The dominant narrative." 

There is not one dominant narrative. Each group have their own narrative, and that needs more caution. Because it can mislead you a lot further, while also making you feel certain about an ideology or "narrative". 

The challenge is to find and question *your* "dominant" false narrative. 

And when you say "dominant narrative", you are already into one particular belief system or world view and theory. 

And it's a very reductive one. You are already into a binary, you are already looking the world through a binary, which you haven't questioned. 

As for "propaganda": 

1) There's not one source of it, or maybe there is one but not the one you think as "dominant" because it's fragmented and already into your trusted sources. If you have a belief about what this dominance is you already believe an assumption which is part of your narrative. 

2) Propaganda is not always the information itself, interpretation of the same information is formed through your group's narrative. 

So, when you say "the dominant narrative", you are already away from truth.
