Non-hurt people hurt people.
Some say that hurt people do sometimes hurt people. So? What? What is the reason of relating one to the other? Do non-hurt people also sometimes hurt people? Then why don't we say "non-hurt people hurt people". Saying "hurt people hurt people" serves the purpose of relating one to the other. It confuses the victims with the abusers, therefore it is wrong.
There are the others that say "everybody has been hurt", or "everybody is traumatised". No, they aren't. This is very dismissive to people who are traumatised. But even if it was so, then what would be the point of poiniting out that "hurt people hurt people". No point. At all. Other than to bypass true causes and victim blame.
